The kingdom of Eadranelle has been freed from its dark isolation, but now faces a new threat: its own tyrannical king. Princess Cassie, determined to save her people, has fled to the neighboring kingdom of Sturmhein in search of allies, accompanied by Bastian, her reluctant protector. In order to gain the trust of the Sturmhein royalty, Bastian must embark on a new quest to find the mystical relic, the Crystal Cuff.

Back within the walls of the palace, Princess Emelina must navigate the dangerous waters of court politics in order to aid in the plan to overthrow her own father. Meanwhile, Shayne, now the leader of the rebellion, must earn back the trust of his fellow rebels after his mysterious disappearance.
